Mothers in Transition
Pregnancy, postpartum, and new motherhood can bring profound change—physically, emotionally, and relationally. Even when things “look fine” on the outside, many mothers find themselves feeling anxious, overstimulated, depleted, or not quite like themselves. This is a supportive, trauma-informed space to process what you’re carrying, stabilize your nervous system, and move through the identity and relationship shifts that can come with motherhood.
In therapy we may focus on:
â—‰
Perinatal anxiety, intrusive thoughts, panic, or constant worry
â—‰
Mood changes, irritability, tearfulness, numbness, or postpartum depression symptoms
â—‰
Overwhelm, mental load, burnout, and sleep deprivation
â—‰
Identity shifts: grief, loss of autonomy, perfectionism, guilt, and “who am I now?”
â—‰
Birth trauma, medical complications, NICU experiences, fertility stress, or perinatal loss
â—‰
Relationship strain: resentment, disconnection, unequal labor, and communication breakdow
â—‰
Boundaries, support systems, and asking for help without shame

So you can care for yourself while caring for your baby, and stay connected to the person you are and the relationships that matter.
