Fathers in Transition
Becoming a father can be meaningful—and also disorienting. Many dads carry pressures that result in feeling anxious, overwhelmed, irritable, or disconnected. This is a space for fathers (and non-birthing partners) to slow down, make sense of what’s changing, and build the internal stability and relational skills that support both you and your family.
In this individual therapy space, we focus on:
â–¶
Anxiety, stress overload, panic, or feeling constantly “on”
â–¶
Anger/irritability, shutdown, emotional numbness, or burnout
â–¶
Identity shifts: provider pressure, role changes, loss of freedom, grief, or loneliness
â–¶
Relationship strain: conflict cycles, resentment, communication breakdown, feeling sidelined
â–¶
Bonding concerns, postpartum disconnection, or feeling unsure how to help
â–¶
Past trauma or family-of-origin patterns activated by pregnancy/birth/new parenthood
â–¶
Navigating work–family balance, boundaries, and expectations
The goal isn’t to “fix” you—it’s to help you feel more grounded, more connected, and more effective as a partner and father.
