Meet Your Trainer
Shayla Gray, LMFT
Shayla Gray is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, Relationship, Family Systems, & Life Transition Therapist and Educator, speaker, and doctoral researcher dedicated to helping couples, families, professionals, and organizations build healthier relationships during life's most significant transitions.
Her clinical work is deeply rooted in helping people understand how trauma, stress, identity shifts, and emotionally demanding seasons impact relationships, mental health, and daily functioning. In addition to therapy, she provides trainings and workshops that help professionals and communities better understand emotional wellness, trauma, relationships, and the needs of parents and families.
Shayla holds a B.S. in Psychology from Virginia State University and an M.A. in Human Services from Liberty University, along with certifications in Marriage and Family Therapy, Autism Education, and advanced couples-focused training. She is Harvard-trained in Couples Therapy, EMDR-certified, and a PhD candidate in Marriage and Family Therapy at Northcentral University, where her research focuses on relationship satisfaction during parenthood.

Her training style is warm, thoughtful, and practical — balancing clinical expertise with real-life application so participants leave feeling informed, equipped, and supported.
